Temporary
Magnets : Iron or soft steel will retain magnetism so
long as the magnetizing force is applied. Once the
magnetizing
force is removed, they will lose nearly all their magnetism.
Magnets
made from such materials are called temporary magnets. |

Total
Internal Reflection : The phenomenon of reflection of
total light when the light traveling in a denser medium strikes
the interface separating the denser medium and the rarer medium
and the rarer medium at an angle greater than the critical
angle is called total internal reflection. |
|
Transistor
: When a third doped element is added to a crystal diode
in such a way that two pn junction are formed, the resulting
device is called transistor. |
|
Transducer
: The device that converts one form of energy into another
form of energy is called a transducer. |
|
Transmitter
: Any electronic system that broadcasts modulated
electromagnetic
signal toward one or more distant receivers is called transmitter.
